The stove will keep heating till the display reads 90 degrees, I had to replace the control board, not shure the thermostat was ever set.
The stove is in a four season room 40by 60.
On the low setting #1 it keeps climbing to 90 degrees. Thermostat as you know is on the backside of the desplay board.
 
Does the flame get small at all? Do you wait around 7 minutes before switching from manual to t stat? If flame is small and room is still at 90 the only thing you can do is turn stove off or open a window. Do you have a external/remote thermostat?

Thanks arc that link pretty much sums up the issue, we run in 1 because the room is small, but now the outside temperature is about40 when it gets colder it keeps the whole house warm, I need to get the heat moving out of the room.
