What is the term for the type of arch stonework above a fireplace? I see countless pictures but I don't know what it is called. We will have a stone veneer (dry stack ledgestone look) on the fireplace but I wanted to have some sort of stone arch above the Northstar ZC fireplace that will be going into our new build.
This looks like a one piece arch stone veneer? What is the term for this so I can find one?
.
Or what is the term for the stonework to put an arch above the fireplace with stone?
Stone veneer look without the arch - I prefer the arch to highlight the FP. Thoughts?
