I have a Rigid ash vac, that seems to be the standard canister style 5 gallon vac amongst many brands. I do love it, but cleaning it can be a pain... appears I'm not alone there.

Has anyone found a good bag to use with this style vac?

Didn't know Rigid has an ash vac. Thanks. Need to look that up.

I just switch my regular garage vacuum to the Rigid blue fine particulate filter when I run the Sooteater up my liner. Rinse it when I'm done. Lasted several years so far. Only use that filter once-a-year for liner cleaning.

I use the vacuum to capture air stuff. Small dustpan to pick up the pile of dusty cresote from the liner. Then vacuum up the remainder that the dustpan can't pick up.

I had a mega-cheapo vacuum before. The filter fell off. Imagine my surprise when I turned around. 😁
