Hi guys,

I have a Cricket ash vac and it does a great job. However, my bag is full and they're so flimsy that it broke while taking it out of the vacuum. So now I need a new bag, but I can't find any in my time I spent on the internet. Did the manufacturer go belly up? I can't even find any junky China made bags on eBay.

Any suggestions where I can get some bags? I'm in central NY so anywhere between Albany and Rochester will work, if there's a dealer or wood stove store that has some in the back storage room. Or a phone call to a dealer anywhere in the USA or on the internet of course.

Thanks - Carpniels

Hmmm looks to be they are no longer around.. Probably because they use a bag...LOL... all the ash vac's i have ever owned do not have a bag but a fabric non flammable prefilter and filter. I had 1 shop vac go up in flames and would never use anything with a bag again.

Thanks Zrock. This is a bummer, bcz I really like that cricket vac since it looks exactly the same as the cricket ash pail, so I have two identical looking 'buckets' sitting right next to each other next to the wood stove. I guess my only option is to take it to Lowe's and check out all the different size Shop Vac bags that exist and see if one is close enough in size that it fits and I can cut the cardboard 'neck' of the bag to size to fit. We'll see...
