Hello i received my new ash pan today. Looked like a easy swap out. When I removed the bottom steel plate that holds the ash pan, it felt like the stove was going to fall over like the legs felt real wobbly. For those of you that have changed your ash pan was this normal?

To switch the pan all you do is flip up the plastic clips on the slide rail. What all did you remove?

The new pan came with a new mounting bracket. I was removing the old mounting bracket that's bolted to the bottom of the stove. 4 allen screws and 4 nuts and bolts.
