I just came into a nice old wood stove made by Atlanta Stove works, a Box 27. I am needing to find a hearth plate to get it up and running but am having a tough time finding one. Does anyone know of a place to get one or has anyone tried using a different plate that works?

Thanks for any info.

Are you referring to a stove board?

I need the small plate that goes under the door. some of the sites I looked at called it a hearth plate. I believe it's the draft control. this is the slide area i can send a better picture.

That slider draft control was the worst part of the stove. The crude air leak under door could be adjusted closed more with a piece of flooring tile tucked into the opening. If you don’t know anyone near you that can loan you their slider to cast a new one from, you can make one from a steel plate with angle iron bolted to the end, ground and bent to fit the door bottom. You will need a flue damper as well to slow the uncontrolled air leak around door.
