Atmos Wood Gasification Boilers: What do you Know?

Has anyone heard of these boilers? They are made in the Chech Republic and are available in Europe. They are making both wood and coal gasification boilers. I have gotten wind of some potential dealers in the US. Does anyone know of their quality and/or any other info about them?

I never really looked into the site if there was any more written about the boiler. Just remember seeing this thread.

It's supposed to be a good gasification boiler, from what I've read. I don't think they're currently being sold in the U.S. I'd like to see one up close.

You might just have to board a plane to do that. Its to bad if you google the subject there are lost of manufactures accross the pond. But our choices are limited, our market must be not enough for them to bother getting certificates of safety to sell here. But with fuel prices are going they might just be a bigger market.

That's cool. I hope we get some users checking in here. I think I visited the Atmos website last year and was impressed. As I recall, it's a longstanding, family-owned company that basically focuses on making wood gasification boilers. Plus, I love the name.

That cutaway diagram at the bottom of the website is interesting. It shows what looks like a different gasification setup, though I suspect it's more a problem with the diagram instead of a new tech.
