I have a Sotz barrel stove kit and a Condar auto draft which is the same as the original Sotz auto draft. I would like to install it on the Sotz door but the condar instructions don’t cover the Sotz door. Presumably because it’s a bit different in other air intake. It brings in air from the top of the door then through a channel on the inside of the door down and out the bottom of the inside. I gather this is to preheat the air and also prevent sparks and ash from coming out. I reckon I will just mount it at the top of the door? Any knowledgeable Sotz owners left?
