I just took out the convection blower on my EF3 getting ready for a new one I have coming. After it was out, I glanced at the auger motor and new immediately that I had a problem.
The casing has collapsed where it meets the metal bar it rests on/where all the force is. What the heck? Anyone ever see this? The motor is only a couple of years old. This doesn't seem like something that should happen. (attached a photo. hopefully it works)
Man, I'm starting to get fed up with this stove. It's been working fine until this season.![[Hearth.com] Auger Motor: Have you ever seen this?
