Active since 1995, Hearth.com is THE place on the internet for free information and advice about wood stoves, pellet stoves and other energy saving equipment.
We strive to provide opinions, articles, discussions and history related to Hearth Products and in a more general sense, energy issues.
We promote the EFFICIENT, RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN and SAFE use of all fuels, whether renewable or fossil.
Here's what happend , hopper was empty when I got home, filled it up, went to bed. Woke up stove was out with a full hopper. Auto shut off mode thinking it was empty? Next time can I just hit the on bottom to keep it from shutting down?
Were there any pellets in the burnpot? Most likely, it just didn't get enough pellets in the pot to get a fire started. If it looks like it's going to shut down, just hit the start button again, and the ignition/start-up cycle should start all over again.
