Hello, and welcome to my experiment. After adding secondary air to my old Timberline stove, I'm experimenting with a few things. But my question is for the people with a 3.0 or larger firebox. The baffle I added inside the stove has about 5.5" of frontal clearance, and the same to the top of the inside of the stove. I think I need to decrease that dimension, and keep the off-gassing in the box a-little longer. So to everyone with a larger EPA stove, when it cools down, could you tell me the dimensions of your smoke route- width and depth? My baffle is approx. 26" wide. The free flow area at the front of the stove is currently- 26x5.5= 143 square inches. Any thoughts?
