Spent most of the afternoon putting together this Bakers Rack. Came from China, then to a distributor, and I ordered from Wayfair.
Came in a 70 pound flat cardboard box. Only 22 steps and two big beers to assemble.
I plan on moving my microwave there and my little fridge. I have a small freezer that will go where the fridge was, and maybe put one of those small toaster ovens I have in storage where the microwave was. Totally amazes me that a guy can put this stuff together and have instant furniture. I know how much work would be involved in making this. Of course if you were to try and move this you would need to be very careful or just leave it as part of the house.

Round 2, and the final round. Day bed twin from Brazil. Flat box special. Had the mattress already in the trailer. Need a place for someone to lie down and watch movies in front of the Stove.
Edit - no, I ordered a coffee table to hold wine, phones ect. Then that's it.

Very cool! You can never go wrong with more storage!
It really made a huge difference. I have a fridge on the bottom, and a toaster oven on top. There is also a power bar built in.
It allowed me to bring a freezer up, and put it where the fridge was. I had the perfect empty spot in that corner.
I am the kind of person that collects a lot of stuff, and I'm always looking for more shelves. I am going to add LED light strips
this winter on the bottom of the shelves.

I put a new kitchen light in last night. I’m not used to having a sun in the kitchen.

This morning my wife started asking about assembling a small cabinet for shoes that she bought. I reminded her she can also assemble it, lol.

Since I've moved in here I have assembled a lot of furniture. All of it shipped for free too. Speaking of lights, this place had the original lights from 1970. I started out just putting in LED bulbs, but eventually started changing them all to LED fixtures. I even took out pot lights from the kitchen and downstairs bar and put pucks in. I like to order 4k type, I don't like yellowish color. Luckily I do this all myself. At some point I need to get rid if old copper pipe and valves.

Houses are never done! I try to go through 1 room a year for maintenance. It doesn’t always happen, but I try.
