Back in July of 2023, a friend of mine dropped off some fresh cut 36" beech logs. I CSS them and had them stacked by August. Normally, I test a few splits from my piles just to be sure, but this stuff is a groan to split by hand and I don't want to fire up the Splitter just to test a few pieces. Anyone have experience with dry times on Beech? I would think the 28 Months would be sufficient. They have been top covered but not in a sunny area.
