.....Since I have posted here and since I had my chimney cleaned.
Work has changed and I don't Have hours to spend on forums anymore.
I also got a little lazy about having the chimney cleaned. Back in May of 2009 just before we installed the Fireview I had the chimney cleaned. In the fall of 2011 I had the sweep back. He was amazed by how clean it was and recommended I call him in two years a gain. Well, I got a little distracted and put off a cleaning until yesterday. Again, the sweep couldn't believe that I had burned 17 or so cords in the 4 years since the last cleaning. Just some dust, He says to call him in another 4 years.
Well seasoned wood and a quality cat stove operated properly makes for a clean chimney.
You all enjoy your turkey and make sure your wood is well seasoned.

I have come to appreciate guys who burn and know what their talking about. This line says it all,

"Well seasoned wood and a quality cat stove operatedproperly makes for a clean chimney."

I can't agree with you more.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hey Flatbed good to hear from you. You burning that wood from the giant oak you were scrounging yet? I remember you made a career change. Hope that's all working out and all is well with and yours. Happy Thanksgiving.

Great to hear from you. Not shining the light on the fat lady anymore?

Welcome back flatbed. You are walking the walk and burning cleanly.

How goes the independent contracting?

Good to hear from you . . . I was just thinking of you the other day in fact.

Happy Thanksgiving Steve !! Hope all is well !

No more fat ladies. I've been staying busy splitting my time between a couple of the few dozen TV shows shooting in NYC these days, special events, corporate meetings, and even in theatres from time to time. I just don't have hours to piss away on the internet at work anymore. I'm less bored, but a little less well rested too. I guess you can't have it all. I just had to tell you all about my chimney cuz I don't know anybody who would appreciate. I'll try to check in from time to time.

Congrats on the success. Work and chimney wise.
