Does anyone have input on these boilers?

Friend has one that is all messed up. Total mess now cracked in three places from an overheat. Worked fine for 5 years then needed work. No storage but from what I found on the WWW storage wasn't needed.

IMO damage from an overheat in a boiler comes about from some sort of install oversight, or a control failure of some sort - in which case, it could happen to most any boiler.

I had a look at Biasi when I was planning my swap, before I got reading deep at this place & saw what else was out there. I thought it was a decent looking unit for what it was, but can't shed much light otherwise.
