just got a used breckwell big e and the only we I can vent is up 7' then through floor cavity for a horizontal run of 11' then out the sidewall. Not ideal but its the only way to do it. . Its a bit far for 3" but nothing else will fit. Got it all hooked up and seems fine except im smelling some exhaust in the room above just before it goes outside. all seams are sealed with tape and silicone.
Any ideas or major problems you see with this setup?
thanks

Very fast ash build up in the venting leading to a quickly worsening burn and even faster ash build up and burn pot build up, possibly an occasional over fired stove shutdown due to combustion blower thermal shutdowns, sensitivity to winds blowing at the vent termination shutting off fuel feed and tossing the #2 blinking light if it doesn't cause a combustion blower thermal shutdown.

ETA: Locate that smoke coming from the exhaust, smoke smells should always be located and corrected. Where there is smoke there are other combustion byproducts one of which is CO a orderless and deadly gas.

Yes, and you seem to know about it already. That set-up is gonna have problems in the not too distant future. Hope you have a way to clean that 11' horizontal easily, and often.
