I haven't been on in several years. I've been happily using my Solo Plus boiler for several years. About 4 years ago I decided to cut down all of my very large beech due to beech bark disease. The big chunks which are still left are not the best firewood now, but I'm too old and tired and frugal to just throw them away.
I was thinking that I'd buy a pallet of biobricks just for nighttime use. Does anyone have any experience with these in a wood boiler?
Thanks

They don’t burn like firewood, start slow and get extremely hot all at once, becoming difficult to control. I’d experiment with mixing them into your load
