Hi All:

Are there are comparisons published of the Biomass and Eko boilers? They look similar, cost similar, and the only difference I could find, I believe, is that the Biomass sucks the air through the door better when loading, and hence much less smoke in your boiler room.

Is that true?

Are there otherd differences?

Also, I see Ahona has the Eko Paxo line. How are these different than the "standard" EKOs?

Seems like anyone with EKO also has Biomass...and I guess they are both imported by New Horizon?

Thanks!

I have discussed at length on the website that presents the comparisons/opinions. The guy posts here. Shoot forgot his name. At that site I discussin painful detail why I left with a Biomass after making my mind up on the EKO. Absolutely do not regret the decision. Don't want to retype all my previous comments, so maybe do a search on my post name, Tennman, or google to get the other wood boiler site that has testimonials on units. Hate it I can't remember the site. EKO is great, but the Biomass improves on it. BUT has not been in the market as long. But after one season I love the choice. Hope I feel the same after 5 seasons. But feedback from other Biomass owners is very positive.

Yup the Biomass wood boiler distributed by New Horizons. Love mine.

Yep. that's it! My opinion has not changed, except even more confident in recommending a BioMass. Now with one season's experience I'm really glad I decided on the BioMass. BTW I'm just a customer, not a salesman for NH. I can't over emphasize how much I used that little window in the lower chamber. ALL THE TIME!!!
