Bixby on EBay

I'm sure by now most of you have seen the Bixby corn stoves being advertised on EBay. He started out at $1700 and he's down to $1500 now. I wrote him a couple of emails with simple questions, which he answered in a timely manner. THEN I asked him some pointed questions like 'how can you sell them so cheaply if they are new 115's' which he said they were. Also, I asked him if there were any problems with them such as damaged seconds or any other problems. I know that there is no warranty. I never got a reply after sending the same message twice.
Has anyone bought one of these stoves from him and if so, what has been your experience?

Yea, I posted over there as well, but I know that some Bixby people lurk here as well so I gave it a shot.
