I can’t reconcile the published clearances vs the minimum size ember protection.
East/West dimensions make sense to me 8”/side=16”+ 27”(stove width)=43” Matches width of ember protection(hearth pad) width of 43”.
North/South dimensions D=15.125”+ L=17.375” + H=18”=50.5” Short 2” of minimum ember protection(hearth pad length of 52.5”
Looking at the stove dimensions Back wall to thermostat=6” + 29.375”(stove depth) + 18”(door swing)=53.375”=53 3/8” Longer by 7/8” than 52.5”(hearth pad) stated dimensions for ember protection in Canada.
Looking for clarification. What am I missing?
