When the stove is cool the heat shield panels on the sides become loose and rattle with the slightest vibration - like footsteps. Not a problem when the stove is hot. Anybody have this problem and figure out a way to tighten them up? Am reluctant to just stuff something in since most somethings are flammable.

My ultra model ash pan will kind of rattle if you stomp the floor near it. It's like an ash drawer. Hot or cold. If it really is the sides on your stove I would look for the contact point that is clapping together and stuff something small in that gap. Even a piece of metal like a coin or paper clip.
