I need more education on a Block-off plate. Both of my options of vendors to buy a stove at are pushing back at doing a Block off plate. Both have stated that they just "shove" insulation up the damper area. One has stated that there is only about 2-3" to get hands in to make the connection and that makes a block-off plate difficult. Ideas/thoughts?
