I have a droplet 1800 insert. Today my blower started acting crazy. It cuts on runs for a minute or two then cuts off again. Now it's not running at all. I'm not home and the wife is not happy! The stove is only a year old and never had any issues or odd noises with the blower. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated

The first thing to check is all the connections. Examine the motor, rheostat, snap switch (heat sensor) connections and see if they are not good. Look for any sign of overheating at these locations. If that's not it, prime suspect would be the speed control.

Also blow everything out at least twice a season. I do it before the burning season and sometime in the middle. I usually oil things up at the same time.
Your issue sounds like a connection issue or a bad switch.
