Mad Dog...Could you get a video the next time you stack pellets?? I can't imagine how you get them stacked so perfect, but I picture you using a level, plum bob and some sort of Kenis-rigged air removal system that removes the air from each bag to make them all the exact same size! Great job, seen them a hundred times and they always impresses me!

I am to embarrassed to post a picture of my first stacking job. You guys would laugh for a month straight. As the stack got taller I was tending to put the bags closer to the front and when I was done and looked at it I saw the entire stack is leaning over. lol

That's OK we like to laugh! As long as you can laugh right along with us!

All I can say is stackin pellets is much easier than stackin wood!

I like to stack them the way they came on the pallet. Seems to save the most room.

3 bags and then 2 bags sideways next to them to make a rectangle.

Then on the next row the 2 sideways bags go over the 3 bags and you put the 3 bags in a row over the 2 sideways bags.

No one seems to do that here. I see bags stacked straight on top of one another

I still do both ways.

An un-tidy stack will take up more space. But if stacked tight, that bag of pellets takes up the same cu ft whether they are sideways or longways.

In my previous pics there is 120 bags in each stack. They are only 2 deep. One stack is 5 (10 per layer) long and the other 4 long (8 per layer).

I think it takes up less space by going 2 deep (32"). But everyone does everything different and that's what makes this site so special.

that's how i do mine as well. the corner i store them in is exactly this size so it works out the best to go in 5's. Plus, it's easy to count thr rows this way.... and by height alone you can kinda guess when you have a ton left.

How are those Press to Logs working out? I snagged a pallet at Lowes for $188 and they are ash city.

You def need more ...... But that will keep the "Man" at Bay for awhile

Pellets are FAR cheaper than oil. And your pellet stacking skills will improve 10 times over by next year (just trust me)

Still another stack that isnt in a pic...... Keep buying them when there cheap. Better than money in the bank.

They are a little ashy. But the heat is great and thats all I care about.

My Fahrenheit self cleans and the Quad Burns them up without a problem

I bought mine a couple years ago (5 ton).
