Bridge Beach & Co, Model 168-20--restoring and installing

I have this antique that I am working to restore and install. Does anyone have history on this model? Also, the stove top is all cast iron, and it tends to let smoke escape through the seams...is there any way to have a seal or gasket between pieces on the stove top?
