Hi all,

New guy here. I recently found a new buck 74zc that has been sitting in a guys garage for the last 5 years. I think it’s the perfect fit for my house, we plan to replace our current zc wood burning fireplace (for looks only style from the 70s). Anyone have the zc version of this stove? Care to share some photos of it installed - can’t find many online?

My first goal is to come up with a design that meets the install requirements and works in our space. Main concern is to not have the mantle too high - 1970s ranch with just under 8’ ceilings. Base on requirements it’s has to be a minimum of 65” high.

They make good quality non-combustible mantels that may solve the concern.
