In this heat sucks


I'm only mixing up enough mortar to do a 2 sq. ft. at a time, otherwise my mortar sits too long and starts to set up. I'm using refrigerated water to mix my mortar also! Give me about an extra 3 minutes it seems, vs. cold water from the tap

Make sure you are mixing your mortar wet enough so when it ''kicks" after a few minutes it is the right consistency o work with. Should be getting more then two feet of working time. You using latex modified?
