Good morning all,
I have a SCAN 60 wood stove, my baffle plate broke and I ordered a new part, however it's taking sometime to get here and we are expected to be in single digits this week with snow.
Can I burn in my wood stove without the "lower baffle" that sits in the firebox? It seems it only redirects heat. My fire may be less efficient, but will it be more at risk of a chimney fire, etc?
Thank you!
