Hello all, im looking for the c codes or operation constants for the 5500 model. I know codes for other models but they are not compatible.

You can PM me this info as i know its not public knowledge.

Ski,
I don't know if you found this thread or not. It is for a 5510 but I'm pretty sure the controller and most of the rest of the stove are pretty much the same as the 5500 except the 5510 has an ash pan underneath. On page 5 Whallila has an excerpt from a troubleshooting guide from USSC called Adjusting Operational Constants. You need to scroll most of the way down the page to find it. This info worked great on my 5510. I lowered the feed rate on heat range 1 to 1.4 pounds per hour. I did this while my stove was off, I'm not sure if it will work when the stove is on.

Steve, thank you for reply. I saw that thread a while back and it was helpful. However, our stoves have a total of 21code's. I have about 1/2 of them worked out. Just looking for the others if some one had them handy. I called ussc but they wont give them up for liability reasons.

FYI you can adjust just about evey setting while the stove is running.

Ok Jason, good luck with getting it figured out. I think I got our 5510 working pretty well with help from great folks on this forum. Thinking about replacing it with a Harman P35i insert but we'll see how that goes. At least the wifey is in favor of it. Thats a good start :)

skibladerj...how many of the codes do you have figured out? We have just purchased our 5510 model and are wondering the same thing about the codes. Could you list which ones you have figured out? We only know c-1 through c-5. It would be greatly appreciated if you would list the others! Thank you!
