Hello,
I am installing a Caddy Wood/Electric furnace in my century farm house in the next few weeks and am looking for advice. I'am wondering about which way to hook up the cold air return. I see that I can purchase a "top mount kit" for the blower assembly and sort of pre-heat the return air using the flue. I have read that the Caddy does not produce really hot flue gases, will this kit rob the flue of heat and create creosote issues in the chimney ? Or should I just mount it to the side of the blower assembly ? Does anybody have any experience or advice with this ?
Thanks
