Question:

This may sound dumb, but can a wood burning stove be installed in a manufactured home?

Answer:

Not a dumb question. Yes, they can..but often you need to do a few "special" things , like hooking up outside air (these homes are often very tight). Also, these are "manufactured" homes and "mobile" homes. Mobile homes also have special requirements pertaining to outside air, support of the chimney, etc.

Be sure to choose a stove that is approved for this use.
