Question:

I have a Treemont stove, model 190.Can this stove burn coal as well as wood?I would appreciate any help on this matter.

Answer:

Tremont is made by Harman stoves.....they should be able to tell you. Generally, if the stove has a shaker (movable) grate and a separate ashpan, this identifies it as a probable coal burner..try http://harmanstoves.com

12/2007 A quick review of Harmans site does not have any information on Tremont, however, in their manuals section they have a contact for ordering hardcopies of manuals not posted on the website.
