I have a 2007 Quadrafire Castile insert. I replaced the convection blower for the second time due to bearing noise. I have tried replacing the bearings in the past without much success. The new bearings were very noisy. Does anyone have a source for quality low noise bearings? I tried several bearing dealers in the area, but did not have any success with them.

I can’t be bothered to change out the bearings. Nothing can really be repaired anymore. The time it takes isn’t worth it to me. Just plug and play and done.

I did just replace my burn plate floor after 10 years

Most of these are sealed bearings and usually not replaceable, but I have seen a post about someone finding a place he got bearings and replaced. kap

They are sealed bearings but can be pressed out. I also remember that post and was hoping that they would chime in.

I am wondering what peoples thoughts are on the quadrafire castile pellet insert? i am looking at getting a pellet insert, due to the small size of our fireplace our options are limited. We are first time pellet stove owners so any feed back is appreciated.
