Are all gaskets for the cats generally the same in terms of what they are made of?

I messed my gasket up for my BKK and the only replacement gasket I could find locally is from a DutchWest. It's the correct width and length but I want to be sure before I change it out.

Thanks

There are a couple of different densities of gaskets & some have a wire mesh (armor) for
the really intensely heated top areas - like the VC griddles, but most of them are made of
braided fiberglass impregnated with graphite.
IMHO, go for the DW gasket. It's GOTTA be better than the one you mahtzoed...
