Question:
I recently picked up a older Jotul 602 (made in 1980). Its a great little stove but I was wondering: Are there add-on catalytic converters available that will increase this stove's efficiency, or at least reduce emissions? I remember them being made when the emissions questions first came up. Are they still being made. Are they worthwhile?
Answer:
They are still made, but I would not suggest them for a stove like your 602. This stove is quite efficient when burned correctly and I do not think you will add a lot with the cat.
