Cawley 800

Hi I just found (on Craiglist) and bought a Cawley 800. A true treasure in perfect conditions.
I do have few questions:
1) does it burn only wood
2) does it need firebricks
3) were can I find a manual (I tried Buck's in Portland OR but received no answer)

One more question
Would the Cawley 800 be too much for a two bedrooms cabin (with a very open floor plan)
