I have an existing wood stove installation. I have a roof leak in the location of the stove pipe penetration through the metal roof. I'm tempted to just replace all external parts due to the age, but my question is will I have connection issues at the ceiling box if I get a different brand of double wall pipe? I'm not sure of any of the original brands of equipment used. My question is how to I make the external connection at the ceiling box. I'd like to get an idea before I tear into it. Thanks.

If you are replacing the chimney you would change out the box as well.
