We have a Central Boiler outdoor wood burner, and I swear I smell smoke in our house whenever the heat comes on. DH as had the stove for ten years, and I think he is just used to the smell and doesn't notice it. I have only been here 3 yrs. We do have a pretty tall chimney - about 12 feet or more (he just added a 4 ft extension) - but I still smell smoke. Is there anything we could check or change to eliminate the smell? The stove is approximately 35 ft from the house on the other side of our small garage.

Just think of is as the smell of heat!;lol
I think that everyone that burns wood get's a whiff here and there.
