Have you noticed that the newer bars (husky for one) the paint doesn't stay on very long
Has anyone waxed theirs?
Is it worth it ?
i know when we used hand saws we always wound run some wax onto the blade ..
Just a thought!
 
Geese, what did you use the hand saws for? The little I’ve used a handsaw made for some respect for them old timers. I’d think the heat would be too much for the wax if it’s too much for the paint
 
I've used a bit of WD-40 to clean up a bar now and then, but definitely never waxed one.
