Cheaper Ash removing shop vac

I wondered about buying that kit too. But I realized that I already had a brush, etc., from another vac and the only part of it that I really wanted was the smaller tube to get me into tighter places in the stove.

So I fashioned a reducer out of wood to adapt the end of one of the extension wands to fit a 3' piece of that 3/4" clear plastic tubing that you can find in the plumbing department.
