I saw that yesterday, and realy thought hard about grabbing it up...NOT

barely used eh? ;-)
That pipe coming out of it looks as rough as the stove

Why make fun at it?
Looking at the picture it looks like it probably works/worked a lot better than a lot of new ones with problems that we read about every day right here.

Well for one, maybe it's just me but when I put something
up for sale I clean it up so it's presentable at least.
That stove looks like it's sitting in an ancient crumbling structure
somewhere amongst the ruins in Chichen-itza.

Also, the "good condition" comment made me chuckle.

I'm just sayin............................

Yeah, but cleaning up that stove might take more work than it`s worth. It looks like an old Englander model.

You have better vesion than I.

Beautiful stove. Note that it's multi-fuel -- wood and coal and pellets!

BTW -- does anyone remember when the Boston area was bombed? This obviously survived the blast, I just don't remember the blast........

Exactly.
I think I'd have the person pay me to haul it away.

That is not a self feeding stove. Just a regular free standing wood stove. I have seen many people selling wood stoves as pellet stoves. When I called on them they would say "Ya just shovel a scoop in as it burns"....

isn't the fire supposed to go on the inside of the stove??

LOL....that's a good one.

And BTW, it looks like the owner took just as much TLC of the house as they did the "good condition" stove :gulp:

Nice find Zeta

that is an old englander, looks like a 24-ac which is the same as the unit i burned in my home for 13 years. poor old girl looks like she was left out in the rain or somthing. she's a workhorse

Three hours work, two cans of paint and a new cat and that sucker would be heating my basement.

And what's the cat for??? Catch the mice that run out of that thing when you open it up?
