One had worked up on me, and I ignored it.
While opening a 400* stove it popped out. I'm glad I had my gloves nearby.

What is that handle on the left side of your stove loon? And when are gonna fix that sagging gasket/air leak at the top of the door glass?

If it's one of Drolet's bigger stoves, it's probably the baffle by-pass. It lets the smoke go straight up when you re-load.
