Just measured my prefab chimney from top of chase down to the ground (fireplace/woodstove is on ground level). It was just under 21 feet.

The liner should terminate at the top of my firebox which is easily two foot above the ground. So I'm thinking a 20' liner kit is going ot be just right. Anything wrong with my thinking here? There is enough difference in price between 20' and 25' to go with just what I think I need.

I would use 4' sections of rigid stainless with a 24" or 48" section of slip at the top. Its a little cheaper, and it makes for easy cleaning. ICC makes the product.

Just be sure. Really sure.
I was sure I needed 19', so I got 20'.
I needed 21'.
