Used it, loved it, meets code. Not cheap, but a good product in my opinion....

Thanks,
I saw it was rated to 2100 degrees and it's UL 103_HT compliant, but was confused with no Class A designation.
I was worried I would get a stupid question demerit.

....And I'm itching to hand one out. But not this time.

I'm not sure what prices you have found on this stuff, but here in Indiana I was just at the Menards store who had it for $63 for a 3ft section. I believe I heard that Lowes might have it also for around the same price but I have never seen it there. That is their everyday price , and it even says class A on it. You might have already known all of this, but I thought I'd pass it along because it's quite a bit cheaper than any place else I've gotten a quote from here.

Firestarter:
Same price at lowes, and I got a 10% coupon, whoo, hoo. Going this weekend.

Eric,
Thanks for taking it light on a newbie. Funny thing, Over on the tractor forum I subscribe to, I would have zinged myself.

By the way, if you really want your money's worth get Excel or another version (duratech?)that has non-compacting/settling insulation and is good for 25 years instead of 10. Check the prices, do the math and it'll be obvious despite discounts.:)
