I replaced the combustion motor at the end of last season and did a complete clean before lighting it up this year. I don't know which had an effect but the old Whitfield has new life and is operating like new and is quieter than it has been in years. We had our first snow yesterday and I have had the stove on 3 or 4 times over the last few weeks. Hope everyone is ready, this forum has a lot of knowledge that helps us.

It's just like when I wash the car after the dirt has collected for several months, I swear it runs better.;)
