I was doing my regular weekly cleaning this morning. Had the door off and the cast iron baffle out. All was going well. I was scraping the burn pot to get rid of the carbon. While vacuuming it out I accidently bumped the flashlight I use w/ my mirror to check inside and the bottom ofthe pot. The flashlight is round and 3/4" in diameter and 3 1/4" long. The light rolled straight down into the exhaust duct. I was unable to easily retrieve it. By the time I was done I had to pull the combustion blower. Oh well, it was an opportunity to vacuum things out. The VERY NEXT thing I did was attach a string to the light. I've had the stove for almost three years and clean it weekly to keep it running smooth and hot. Hope someone can learn from my dumb mistake. What should have been a 30-45 minute job turned into an hour and a half.
