Wow. They should be happy they had waterlines there and not something else (electrical).
They got warned with some stains and it extinguished anything that got too hot.
 
Seems kinda (AI) fake. The way the pipes are burnt upper right away from other burnt parts. Also I don’t think they would have burnt, just melted then started leaking. The way the bottom of the pipe is resting on the walls sill plate also looks suspect. Then there’s the lack of water on the floor for such a major area of leakage.

Also the hoses at the lower left side of the pipe are far closer than the one going to the top right that were supposedly damaged.
Those at the top right are more than 2" away from the pipe imo, so outside of clearances of most class A (and this is a US built home, so likely =<2" clearance pipe).
