Clearstak CS-100 Retrofit

I just heard about this new product coming out on the market. Catalytic retrofit for outdoor wood stoves. I believe it mounts on the stack.

Cannot find a price for it, wondering if anyone has seen these or heard pro's and con's.

I'm just getting sales literature and not actual product shots or installation information. What I'm wondering is how they worked out the bypass and whether there is a minimum flue height. Short flues seems a common issue on these smokers.

They say it has an "intelligent controller" so maybe that engages the cat at temp.

Sales info is all I see also, can't find any pictures, installation instructions or prices.

I do not have an outside unit, but I know several people that do in the Fairbanks city limits. They are trying to eliminate them due to the pollutants they put out in neighborhoods.

These things burn alot of wood 15-25 cords per year, wow....
