Connector Pipe Rumble...

Sitting in my kitchen last night watching the fire in my PE Vista (might have had a beer in my hand) and a rumbling noise started in the connector pipe...I turned the air down to low but the rumble continued. The rumble did eventually go away. Is this normal?..never heard that before...but since moving my stove out of the basement it has been easier to use with higher performance....anyone??

I would guess a small ignition of some tar in the pipe - or, some unburnt gases getting to the flue and then igniting. That is why they tell you to screw all pipe together. Vibrations and other factors can make it move!

Hmmm... sounds like stove koodies.. horrible buggers and sweeps hate them... most contageous you know! ;-P
