Getting ready to install my Glenwood Duplex (coal and propane) cookstove in my steel work boat (45'long).

Coal only because I can dump a ton at a time into existing hoppers and not worry about moisture

Gas so we can cook in the summer.

Quention is whether copper is suitable.

Design is to construct spiral pipe and solder with silverbrite.
(650 degree melting temp)
First 4 feet or so will be stainless steel then copper across engine room then metalbestus through wheelhouse and above.

If not, thinking of using stainless chimney liner in engine room or(God forbid) sched 10 316 6"S.S. pipe.

No code applies, yet safety is paramount.

Thank you.

Mods feel free to move thread if appropriate.

Copper wont hold up to the coal well and you also have to make sure you use all 316 ss 304 wont last long either

Thanks
So any alternative beside thin wall 316 pipe?

So will the Metalbestus be ok?
It solves so many problems going though the wheel house
